Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken, 17 goals - workshops und installation

Seventeen drawings in the courtyard of the Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken show the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals from the perspective of children. In 2022, for the Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken, everything revolves around the possibilities of equitable transformation through the cultural sector. For the installation in the courtyard, art educator Saskia Riedel (arcs audio) had the idea of drawing the 17 sustainability goals together with children and then displaying them in the light boxes in the courtyard.

The students created the drawings entirely on their own. Saskia Riedel accompanied the process in classroom workshops and then digitized the analog illustrations.
