The state capital of Saarbrücken commemorates the victims of Nazi tyranny who lived in Saarbrücken and the former Territory of the Saar Basin. Among other things, it sets signs of remembrance in public space in order to preserve their history, the memory of the victims as well as admonishing reminders of the crimes in the collective memory. arcs audio has produced audio clips for the "Bond of Remembrance" and "The Interrupted Forest".

The monument "Bond of Remembrance" is a sculpture which shows the named list of the deported and murdered Jewish women, men and children from the Saar region at that time. The sculpture was designed by the artist group Mannstein + Vill Berlin.

On today's "Square of Remembrance", the newly created synagogue courtyard, it was thus possible to create a contemporary memorial as a central place of remembrance for the entire Saarland.

"The Interrupted Forest" commemorates the Saarland Jews murdered during the Nazi era. It is designed according to a concept by the Darmstadt sculptor Prof. Ariel Auslender.
